Why do I have to turn off the airbag when the car seat is in the front?

An airbag can deploy on impact at speeds of up to 300 km/h. It is not difficult to guess that at this moment it is a deadly threat to a child transported in a car seat in the front passenger seat.

The effects of the explosion of the safety cushion at such a speed on the infant are not difficult to predict, both in the case of its position facing it or facing it. As it turns out, most drivers traveling alone with a small passenger prefer to place the baby carrier in the front. In this case, however, it is advisable to move the passenger seat to the maximum, on which the carrier is attached, or to completely disable the airbag.

It is always best to exercise moderation when taking any precautions as well. In order to protect the child from the consequences of unexpected events in the car, we must always comply with the provisions of safety regulations, but above all, all situations that generate a threat must be prevented.
